New Orleans singer-songwriter Steve Kelly is a true lover of his adopted home, calling it “the greatest city the world has ever known or will ever know.” A fixture on the local scene, where he’s a regular at clubs like Tipitina’s, the Maple Leaf and Le Bon Temps Roule, Kelly’s debut solo record, "Here's The Thing", is more Alt Soul than New Orleans funk, steeped more in the soulful vocals and R&B horns of Al Green, Hi Records and Willie Mitchell than anything that came from the Crescent City, but the town’s spirit is undeniably woven throughout his music.

Saturated in soul and marinated in the love of music comes The Quickening out of New Orleans, LA. With the inception of the band beginning in 2012, guitarist and song writer Blake Quick has assembled a panel of musicians that have enhanced the meaning of “feel good music”. The band has a chemistry that boils with excitement and can incorporate a party full of people into one cohesive partnership. The funky rhythm section, coupled by Al Small on bass and Scott Graves on drums, seem to have a marriage to the groove that Quick lays down. The band’s organist, Jeaux Bouche’, is a jack of all trades, and melds the band’s sound in every corner of their songs. James Beaumont on saxophone takes their jams to new levels in every direction with his eager attack and passion for their music. The band has already made a huge impact in the New Orleans community and are eager to spread the word like butter across the US. See ya at da pawty! Formed in 2019, Poisson Rouge is a Lafayette, LA-based band that seamlessly blends the old-style Cajun sound with contemporary influences. At the helm is singer-songwriter and accordionist Kylie Griffin, whose heartfelt French lyrics create a captivating and unique breed of Cajun music. What sets Poisson Rouge apart is their dedication to educating audiences about Louisiana culture, with half of the band members being music educators themselves. With pride in their Louisiana roots, Poisson Rouge is boldly redefining the landscape of Cajun music. As a band and music educators, we go beyond performing on stage; we strongly believe in bringing Louisiana's music into our classrooms. Through educational initiatives, such as our summer music camps, and the creation of student led Cajun & Zydeco ensembles, we strive to inspire and educate young people, providing them with opportunities to explore and perform the rich musical traditions of our beloved state of Louisiana.
